1. About these terms
ZERAKET is operated by ZERA GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES, Kampala, Uganda. These terms form a binding agreement between you and us when you create an account, buy a ticket, host an event, sell, sponsor or advertise. Contact: legal@zeraket.com.
2. Platform usage rules
- Use ZERAKET only for lawful event commerce and engagement.
- You must be at least 16, or older where an event or country requires it.
- Keep your credentials private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information and keep it current.
- Features may change, pause or be limited by country, payment provider or network conditions.
3. Ticketing agreement
- A ticket is a revocable licence to attend one event, issued by the organizer through ZERAKET.
- Entry requires a valid, unused ticket that passes our QR or barcode check. The first valid scan wins.
- Transfers and resale are allowed only through ZERAKET and only where the organizer permits it. See the Ticketing Policy.
- Organizers and venues set entry conditions such as age, ID and security screening.
4. Financial terms
- Prices, service fees and taxes, including VAT where it applies, are shown before you pay.
- Payment is due in full at checkout. A ticket is issued only after the payment provider confirms payment.
- Organizers pay platform commissions and provider fees as shown in their plan and finance settings.
- Payouts are released to a verified settlement account after the event and any hold period, less fees, refunds and chargebacks.
- Refunds follow the Refund Policy and any stricter or more generous organizer rules shown on the event page.
5. Organizer, vendor, sponsor and advertiser obligations
You must hold the rights, permits and licences your event or campaign needs, describe it honestly, deliver it as advertised, honour valid tickets and comply with tax, consumer and advertising law. You are the seller of record for your event unless we state otherwise.
6. Limitation of liability
- ZERAKET is a marketplace and infrastructure provider. We do not run events and are not liable for how an organizer delivers one.
- We are not liable for losses caused by misuse of your account, unauthorised access you enabled, or disputes between you and third parties.
- To the extent law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees we earned on the affected transaction.
- Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or statutory consumer rights.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts, remove or pause events and ads, hold payouts, or restrict features where we reasonably suspect fraud, a breach of these terms or our policies, a legal requirement, or risk to users. Where safe to do so we explain why and let you appeal through the compliance team.
8. Intellectual property
The ZERAKET brand, software and designs belong to us. You keep ownership of content you upload and grant us a licence to host and display it to run and promote the platform. See the Intellectual Property Policy.
9. Changes
We version every policy. Material changes are announced at least 14 days before they take effect and signed-in users are asked to accept them. Continued use after that date means you accept the new version.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Disputes go first to our internal resolution process, then to mediation, then to arbitration seated in Kampala. Mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence still apply.
